Make Peace or Die: Honor the Fallen is a new documentary directed by Manny Marquez that follows the emotional journey of his brother, Marine Corps veteran and Knight Anthony Marquez. Haunted by the tragic loss of 17 men from his unit during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, Anthony found a new a mission to honor his fallen comrades by carving battlefield crosses for the families they left behind. The film debuts on PBS’s Independent Lens on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, at 10 p.m. (check local listings). The film will also be available to stream on the PBS app.
